Sonya Whatley

Born in Birmingham, Alabama, Sonya Whatley discovered her love for music as a young child, using her God given talent, she started out in the church choir. She continuously studied various genres of music throughout high school and college where she started singing professionally with bands as well as in the studio, and has been fortunate enough to continue to perform a variety of different styles of music with talented musicians locally, nationally and overseas. Blessed with quite a wide variety of experiences such as shared stages with R&B, Gospel and Jazz Artists, Sonya considers her steps to be ordered by God who has placed her in the right places for opportunities to sing. She grabs hold of each opportunity, and follows through with commitment and determination.
Being the mother of two beautiful kids, Crystal and Jeremy, Sonya enjoys family time, Quiet time, reading, traveling and live music when not performing professionally.
