Manchester Sing Out Choir (MSOC) is a multi-cultural and cross-generational choir who are united by a love of music, performance and God. Established for the Manchester International Festival launch in 2005, MSOC continues to grow and perform together and is now in much demand. Wayne Ellington is the founder and director for the Choir and his unquestionable gift and vision is shared around the UK and Europe through his passion and ministry of gospel/ inspirational music. His vision to introduce/ reintroduce Christian faith in Jesus through gospel singing, is uplifting and is supportive to a community of people who have a desire to promote good spiritual attributes. The personality, character and unity of the choir exude a strong sagacity of friendship, peace and love. Their performances are moving and passionate no matter what your origins or denomination. Their strong voices and astounding musical arrangements on original and cover songs truly reflect the vision of joy and peace throughout our communities. Some of the instant favorite songs including originals such as ‘You're My Strength' and ‘Face the Future' were written and composed by Maria Connolly and Wayne Ellington, while hymnal vocal arrangements and 1980's to 1990's covers are well executed by the choir's magnificent sound. Manchester Sing Out Choir aim to discover talented and gifted individuals, to build and rebuild self-esteem, confidence and inter-personal skills.
